Cabin Fever: Take 2

I honestly don’t know what to think about this. Take a look at the new trailer for the Eli Roth approved REMAKE of CABIN FEVER directed by Travis Zariwnyand using the original 2002 script by Eli Roth and Randy Pearlstein. The last Cabin Fever sequel was barely two years ago, so this remake seems to a tad premature considering most remakes happen a good 20-30 years after the fact.

The Cults of Cult Film: A Look at Religious Extremism in Horror

Someone recently asked what my favorite horror sub-genre is. A fair question, but not so easy to answer. Like many fright fans, I go through moods. One week, I’m all about carnivorous corpses, and the next, I’m leaping out from behind doors and scaring the shit out of my wife in honor of whatever jump-scare-paranormal-hooey I just finished. The more interesting question, for my money, is what sub-genre or horror trope actually frightens me the most.
