Children’s Horror Start-up Kit

Being a horror buff is hard work when you have a little one. The main goal is to turn them into a little movie fiend, but it’s harder work deciding on what to show them and when. Of course this is all on the parent and how they raise their child concerning what they watch and when. This list isn’t a must, and I imagine some will disagree with my parenting decisions but this is how I approached my daughter with horror.

Let me preface by saying that I’ve made a few short films and my daughter was part of the filmmaking process and was torn to pieces in my short Teddy when she was 7 years old. That said, she saw first hand how special effects worked and the beauty of movie magic. So for me, it was kind of a different approach because she actually got it.

Of course there is more to this list but this is just a starter kit for you and your kids.
