Screamcast 129: Slumber Party Massacres, Serial Killers and a Cheerleader Camp

Brad and Sean dive back into the Slumber Party Massacre series to discuss Scream Factory’s double feature blu-ray of II & III! Also, we check out an underseen William Lustig film from 1989 called Relentless. And in our VHS-OMG segment, Brad recommends the ’80s Sex Comedy gem (and criminally underseen) Gimme An F. Plus, news with Josh Obershaw!

Slumber Party Massacre II/III [Scream Factory]

-Gimme An ‘F’ never made it to DVD. We stand by our review and believe it needs more visibility and would benefit from a restoration and a blu-ray release. This needs to be discussed along side ’80s comedies like Meatballs, Screwballs, Porky’s and more! See for yourself:

You definitely need to bring back Tristan Risk.
I loved Slumber Party Massacre 2, the killer was fun and the kills were cool, and the killer’s song is a bop. Slumber Party Massacre 3 started off really well, i loved the killer and how athletic he was but then it got “psychological” with all the respect to the themes explored as you’d expect from an early 90’s slasher so and the movie ended up turning into kind of a wet fart by the end.
