I remember being about nine-years-old, and my dad rented a movie that I saw TV ads for a few months earlier. Judging from the promos, I thought it was going to be the gnarliest monster movie ever. After I saw it, I thought it was really, really lame. That film was 1986’s RAWHEAD REX, and it was the first time I was ever disappointed by a monster movie. I have not watched it since then.

Can’t Wait for Synapse? SUSPIRIA 40th Anniversary Leatherbook Edition on the Way From ’84 Entertainment

2017 marks the 40th anniversary of Dario Argento’s horror masterpiece, SUSPIRIA. Synapse are planning on releasing the Blu-ray they’ve been working on for some time this year (there is still no release date set) to mark the occasion. However, they are not the only ones.

Germany’s ’84 Entertainment announced a 40th Anniversary Leatherbook Edition. This 3-disc limited set (1111 copies) comes in a glorious-looking digipack and slipcase, which will also house an 84-page booklet.
