Genres and labels has been a bit of a hot button issue lately, begging the question: why do we have so many sub genres in the first place? Is it as simple as just that what scares us is such a personal experience? That they help us know going in if it will be an effective and enjoyable time? What scares you may not affect me at all, but does that make it any less of a movie? Or are the sub genres just a way for the studios to easily follow a trend to make the most money?
